Your wig is more than a style, it’s a source of confidence. With a little care, it will stay soft, beautiful and effortlessly you. Every halo from Her Halo Hair Co is designed to stay flawless, wear after wear.

Washing Your Wig

Give your wig a gentle refresh every 6–8 wears, or whenever it begins to lose its softness.

How to cleanse your halo:

  1. Fill a sink or basin with cool water.
  2. Add a small amount of wig-friendly shampoo.
  3. Gently swish your wig for 1–2 minutes — avoid rubbing or twisting.
  4. Allow it to soak for 5–10 minutes.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with cool water.
  6. Apply a wig-friendly conditioner (optional), then rinse again.

Always air dry. Gently squeeze out excess water, blot with a towel and place your wig on a stand to dry naturally. Avoid using a hair dryer.

Once fully dry, gently detangle using a wide-tooth comb. Start from the ends and work your way up, taking care not to pull on the fibres.

Brushing & Styling

  • Use a wide-tooth comb or wig brush.
  • Always start from the ends and work upwards.
  • Never brush your wig while it’s wet.
  • Avoid heat tools unless your wig is labelled heat-resistant.
  • If heat-resistant, keep styling tools on a low setting (maximum 150°C).

Storing Your Wig

Keep your halo beautifully shaped and ready to wear.

  • Store on a wig stand or mannequin head.
  • Or place it in your Her Halo Hair Co satin storage bag.
  • Or return it to its original magnetic gift box.
  • Keep away from heat, humidity and direct sunlight.

Top Tips to Keep Your Halo Glowing

  • Avoid sleeping or showering in your wig.
  • Use styling products sparingly — less is more.
  • Always detangle gently before washing or storing.
