What type of hair do we use?
All of our Hair Extensions are 100% Remy Human Hair, ethically sourced from Eastern Europe. We wanted to make sure there were no shady deals going down behind the scenes. Our Manufacturer guarantees quality sourcing and we have been assured of an ethical supply chain. Remy Human Hair blends seamlessly with your natural hair and remains soft, silky and healthy when cared for correctly.
Will the halo match my own hair colour?
Our Hair Extensions come in multiple colours and blends including Balayage Hair Extensions, Ombre Hair Extensions, Two-tone, Highlight and Lowlight Hair Extensions. We also offer a bespoke colour matching services so that you can be sure you get the right colour
Can I colour my own hair with my halo in?
Yes, you can. The bonds of our Hair Extensions are very strong and will not get damaged should you dye your hair whilst they are in. However, most of our customers get their colour done with their hair stylist.
How long will my halo last?
With regular maintainence every 15-20 wears your Her Halo Hair extensions should last 12-months. Using specifically formulated care products for your extensions will ensure you get the most out of your halo. We also know that girls can be girls, so be just careful ;)
How long does it take to put my halo on?
Our Halo Hair Extensions can be put in quickly, even a matter of seconds if you're a pro. For more check out our tutorials here.
Will my hair get damaged by the halo?
Halo Hair Extensions are designed to be the lease damaging of all hair extensions. No clips or tape mean youre not going to have foreign objects pulling on your natural hair, just a high-weight wire which holds the halo in place. If your halo begins to hurt contact us and we can talk about how to make it easier for you.
Will I be able to wear my hair up?
Girl of course you can! Our Halo Hair Extensions work so well with any hair style, check out our Instagram or Youtube channel for style advice.
Can I dye my halo?
We don't recommend doing anything too extreme like bleaching or lightening your halo as it damages any hair. You can tone and dye your halo darker but we always recommend doing this with a qualified stylist or hairdresser just in case. If you do try it at home, its always best to try a test strand first :)
Can I straighten or curl my halo?
Yes you can. Our halo is 100% Remy Hair so its just like your hair! We always recommend using a heat protector when styling your halo, its not like the old days when we could just pull out the iron!
How do I wash my halo?
We recommend washing your halo every 20-25 wears or when you notice a build up in product. We use warm water, shampoo and conditioner and lay flat to dry. Minimal use of heat styling as it will limit the life expectancy of your halo. For more information on care visit our Youtube channel.
Can I use hair products with my halo?
Yes you can use most products with your halo. We recommend using products that are high in moisture, and avoid using products that have a high protein content.
We have a 30 day return policy, But please keep in mind to be eligible for a refund the hair must be un-used and untampered. The hair will come tied up in a plastic sleeve and to be able to return it the Halo must still be in it's original tie and plastic sleeve.
You can exchange your Hair piece within 30 days of purchasing. But only if it meets our Return / Exchange requirements.
What this means is that the hair piece must not have been, worn or removed from its plastic sleeve. It must be in an un-used condition and returned with all its original packaging.
We can't accept a returned item if it's been:
- Wet / Washed
- Cut or Trimmed
- Styled in any way
- Removed from the protective sleeve
- Coloured / Toned
- Worn (you can check if the colour matches, by holding it up to your hair but if it has been worn we cannot accept it because of hygiene reasons)
Once we have receive your requested return, we’ll inspect all items before an exchange can be issued.
We reserve the right to deny any exchanges if items are not returned in their original condition, and they’ll be returned back to you. We’ll let you know by email if your item has been accepted for exchange.
Exchanges can take up to 20 days to process. The cost of returning an item is at the customer’s expense and is non-refundable. We recommend using a tracking system to help make sure your items don’t go missing, because we cannot process exchanges for items we have never received. Best to ask for proof of postage at the time you posted the item, too.
